Embracing fears The well-known singer-songwriter and dementia expert Sarah Straub goes on tour and presents her sixth album "Keine Angst". We are strong. We can take it. On her current "Keine Angst" tour, Sarah Straub is encouraging one thing above all: courage! While writing her 13 new songs, the successful singer-songwriter, book author and much-booked dementia expert realized that there is no real reason in life to give in to your fears. Instead, you should embrace them lovingly and let them go. Sarah Straub's concerts are pure entertainment. She is deeply moving, hilarious at times and her sensitive piano playing and crystal-clear voice give you goosebumps. Sarah Straub is a storyteller of the old school and yet at the same time so refreshingly unique and authentic that it is no wonder that none other than Germany's best-known singer-songwriter Konstantin Wecker has chosen her as his musical partner. The tour starts with a highlight. Sarah Straub will perform her songs together with the Bavarian Philharmonic Orchestra in several large concert halls. Concertgoers can expect sensitive and angry songs with which Sarah Straub reconciles herself with life in a hopeful way. She courageously tackles the topics of death, loneliness, injustice and abuse. Things that she wants to de-taboo, with deep insights into her soul, with mercilessly open words, which she releases into freedom with the most beautiful melodies. Her lyrics are dedicated to a dear friend who had to leave the world far too early, are addressed to people who eke out an existence on the margins of our society and also to those who no longer see the colorfulness in their lives. But the colors are there. We are there for each other, is the credo of the singer, who has also been able to win over a wide audience in recent years with her concert readings for relatives of dementia sufferers and numerous radio and TV broadcasts. With her current tour, she wants to build on her success and send out the message that we can all walk through the depths of life if we really want to - and that we are not alone in doing so.
